We are going to celebrate the Deaconship of Brother Charley Chaney with a lunch on Sunday, October 4th, after the morning services. Brother Charley has been a Deacon here at Faith Community Baptist Church for 10 years. Brother Charley loves to visit the shutins and those in hospital, keeping them in the loop. He keeps the grounds around the church does the landscaping, he is a good handyman, always working on whatever he can for the glory of God. I can't find anyone who has a more happy heart than a man who knows the Lord the way Brother Charley does. There is a twinkel in his eye when he is thinking of a way to tease someone. Brother Charley is a man of God, thinking about others and always in prayer for others. Looking forward to celebrating his commitment to the Lord.
